Radius Forming Dies
With the new designs of Patented SMART PAD® SYSTEMS, radius bending any gauge or type of sheet metal on Press Brakes can be very easy and economical. As compared to the conventional bump-forming process, the number of forming hits to form a given large radius are drastically reduced.
POLY-DIES are used for sharp or radius V-bends and for one hit radius U-bends.
ADVANTAGES:
- Consistent, smooth radii created with no bend lines or kinking
- Versatility to form any radius using the same bottom die and just by changing the steel punch to form a given radius
- Create completely mar-free bends
- Reduce set-up times in bump forming large radius bends
