    Successful Application of Die-Thane Tooling

    Missile Carrier
    This custom designed tooling package was made complete with steel bottom dies and Die-Thane top punches. Corner radii were formed on the ribbed sections by using a shaped steel punch and a Die-Thane bottom die.
    Tooling Cost was 1/4 of Steel Tooling.

    Stainless Steel Pan covers, Bulge formed, by using Die-Thane as the bulge die. Custom molded shapes with Die-Thane increased the life expectancy to 175,000 cycles as compared to 5000 cycles from our competitor's Urethane.

    Four different shapes of wing sections were formed with a sectioned, inserted steel bottom die. Die-Thane Punch, was able to form flanges on all sides, as well as draw the cup shades and blank the holes.
