Polyurethane in Action
1. Floroscent light cover: 4’ and 8’ long radiused covers, made of pereforated, pre-painted sheet metal are formed with SMART-PAD TOOLING SYSTEM.
2. Lighting reflector:
For bending the highly reflective sheet metal into multiple bends, a steel punch was used with a urethane lined bottom Die. Multiple bends were made without scratching, with consistant bends.

3. Belt Scrapers made of Polyurethane have superior abrasion resistance, are used exclusively for removing excess materials clinging on to the belts on the return flights. In Coal, Phosphates and sulphur mining, and other aggregate mining and conveying applications, the belt cleaning process on the return flight have proven to be very efficient and cost effective as compared to rubber, plastic or metal scrapers.
4. Seals for Artificial Diamond Press:
In the process of manufacturing artificial diamonds, a customer of ours has successfully used our high performance Polyurethane Compounds for sealing applications involving 55,000 PSI.
